Industrial Case Studies

An industry track presentation is a summary of an industrial practice, method or a tool. You can think of this as a mini tutorial by one or two industry experts on a focussed subject. An industry track presentation will be a 45 minute presentation during the conference.
Industrial Case Studies are targeted towards practitioners and professionals working in the field of human-computer interaction/ Usability. Industrial Case Studies show the application, integration and challenges of human-computer interaction approaches, techniques and tools towards the development of usable, innovative solutions and services. The difference to the full papers is in the practical, rather than strictly scientific, nature of  the submissions. We are welcoming submissions in the areas of design, showcases, best practices, etc. Proposed Industrial Case Studies are encouraged to address one or more of the topics as outlined in the general Call for Submissions for IndiaHCI2011.

Accepted contributions for Industrial Case Studies will have a presentation slot in the conference and will be included in the conference proceedings. To make an industry presentation, you need to submit a 200-word abstract of the presentation and a short bio of the presenters to submissions@indiahci2011.in . These will be reviewed by the co-chairs on the basis of their judgement on what might be relevant to the audience attending the conference.
