Location 

India HCI has tradition of being organozed in different cities of India. This year Bangalore is hosting the conference. Bangalore has always been called the Silicon Valley of India. With the pleasant climate, the urban amenities, the rich tradition of technical education, and the highly professional ambience, numerous global and local corporate big-name entities have found a home here. The conference will be held in the International Institute of Informatio Technology[IIIT-B] Campus. The IIIT-B campus is located in the heart of Electronics City, one of the prestigious IT destinations in Bangalore, with excellent infrastructure, facilities, and services. The list of companies located in the high-tech area close to the Institute is a virtual Who's Who of the IT business. IIIT-B is situated opposite the Infosys corporate headquarters, and is within easy walking distance of other major companies like HP, Siemens, Wipro, GE and others, giving students and faculty opportunities for productive interaction with the industry.

Travel and Visas

If you need an invitation letter from the conference for getting a visa, first register for the conference and then send a request for a visa letter to register@indiahci2011.in

Accomodation

This conference does not arrange for your accommodation, but we are here to help you find a good place to stay. Confeence has tied up with few of th hotelswhich are in close vicinity of the conference venue. Here we will try to get some choices that suit everyone's budget, but we will also try to point to other options.

Here are some options (sorted on the cheapest costs). To book a room in any of the following, register for the conference and then send an email to our student volunteers at acco@indiahci2011.in. Mention your Registration ID to help us track you. Let us know if you prefer to share a room with someone to divide costs - volunteers can help you find a room partner. You may also make direct booking mentioning you as India HCI/IIIT-B delegates.

Hostel accommodation in IIIT Bangalore (Located in the campus only)

• Rates: Rs. 600-700 per day for the room. Breakfast + dinner should cost another Rs. 100 per day.
• This is in student hostels for registered student volunteers only (more on this option soon)
